Just hanging out . . .

Sunday, 30 September 2007

I have been helping to look after to Kate . . .

Grandad helped me use the new drawing things that I found at the Two Dollar Shop . . .

I have been winding my brother up . . .

I had to give the truck to Luke. He yelled really loud and got me into trouble. . .

I had a bath with Luke and Mummy did crazy hair with the shampoo . . .

After our bath Mummy tried to brush my hair, but I kept running away . . .

Grace

This morning Grandad was doing the recycling (that means he was burning things in the fire). The door to the fire was open and he was poking things in. I squatted down to watch and got quite upset about the whole business. Everytime Grandad burnt something and it went up in flames I said 'oh no gone'. . .

My friend Fizzy came to say hello, Viv came with her. Viv has a special chair that she sits in and it has wheels on it! That's a good idea . . .

I had some cudles with Fizzy . . .

I helped Nanny to make some Scones . . .

Luke

Thanks Gracie . . .

This morning Grace picked out my clothes and helped to dress me . . .

Grace managed to put my pants on and my socks. She is a big help for Mummy . . .

The big ones played with me on the mat . . .

Nanny's girl today . . . .

Saturday, 29 September 2007

I have been hanging out with my Nanny today. We have been playing Barbies (Barbies were called Nanny Trish and Fizzy and they went to a meeting).
We went out and about to visit Fizzy and another friend of Nanny's. When we went out Mummy was going to have a sleep. But Kate woke up as we were going down the driveway and then as she was going back to sleep Luke woke up, so there was no sleeping for Mummy.

This afternoon I helped Nanny to do the dishes and to make the tea. Nice.

Grace

Thanks Kyle and Conny . . .

When my big cousins come to stay at Nanny's house they always buy new toys and then leave them here for the next time they come to stay. I found boxes and boxes of things to play with.

The best thing that I found was a box of Hot Wheels cars. The problem is though I can't eat my tea and things and hold on to the cars at the same time. I'm getting pretty hungary.

Cuddles with Grandad . . .

Off to the Coast . . .

Friday, 28 September 2007

We were up and off very early this morning. Mummy and I did the packing last night (Mummy put all the clothes out and I put them in the bags). Then this morning Daddy packed the car for us, we were off at 8.30 in time for Kate's first sleep.

The little ones slept for most of the trip so I had Mummy's full attention. Nice. We sang songs and played games. That was all good.

Our first stop was in Reefton to have lunch with Nana Hunt and Aunty Bev. I love visiting their house, Nana made lunch for us and I played with Aunty Bev. She is great for playing with. She took Luke and I to the park after lunch. I love going to the park with Aunty Bev.

Our second stop was to pick Grandad up at his Model Village. Grandad was talking to a lady that he went to school with. We are not allowed to make comments about old people because that is rude.

Our third stop was to Nanny and Grandad's house. Hooray! I love going to Nanny and Grandad's house. Nanny and I went out and about. I told Nanny it was very nice to be out and about with no babies.

Fun with Aunty Bev . . .

We went to see Nana Hunt and Aunty Bev today. After lunch Aunty Bev took Gracie and I to the park.

It was the first time I was allowed to go, normally only Gracie is allowed to go with Aunty Bev. We had a great time, I think I have been missing out.

Luke

Hello Nana and Aunty Bev . . .

I met some new people today.
I met my Great Nana Hunt (she is Grandad Alan's Mummy).

I also met my Great Aunty Bev (she is Grandad Alan's sister).

I liked the look of them, they seemed quite nice.

Grumpy babies in the bath . . .

Thursday, 27 September 2007

I had a bath with both of the little ones tonight. They were both very very grumpy and both cried. Mummy took them out and I had the bath all to myself. Nice.

Today we went to visit my Gran back in the hospital. She did something to her good knee and had to get an Ambulance to take her to the hospital. She was feeling much better today and looking forward to going home. I like visiting the hospital, so it was all good for me (but not for Gran).

Next we dropped Luke off with Ruth and the French boys so that the rest of us could go to the movies! I have never been to the movies before, so that was a first.

I like the big seats and I liked the popcorn. I didn't like having to sit still and not being able to talk. Kate was getting fussy so Mummy and I took her into the Cry Room, she went to sleep. Just as she went to sleep I needed to go to the toilet, so Mummy gave Kate to Daddy and took me upstairs to the toilet. When we came back into the movie we left Kate with Daddy and Mummy and I went to sit in the Cry Room. That was a much better idea because then I could move around and talk.

The movie we went to see was Ratatouille. Mummy said it was very average and not worth wasting your money on, wait until it is on DVD.

Playing with matches . . .

Last night I found a box of matches to play with.

Excellent, next I will be running with scissors!

Luke

I've had a very disjointed day . . .

. . . it felt like every time I went to sleep they were waking me up again.
Never mine I got lots and lots of cuddles though.

We went to Chipmunks . . .

Wednesday, 19 September 2007

We went to Chipmunks today. We were up and off early so we could pick up my friend Ella and go. Daddy said what you are taking four kids! But Mummy said that is not a problem, and it wasn't - Ella and I had a brilliant time playing together. We meet Aunty Megan, Finn and Cleo at Chipmunks, so I had heaps of people to play with. In a couple of the photos Mummy managed to get Ella, Finn, Cleo and I in the shot (but apparently it was tricky to manage).

Aunty Megan and the twins left at lunch time. Because Ella and I were having such a great time Mummy decided to stay a bit longer. Ella and I disappeared and played and played and played. The time flew by and when Mummy checked to clock it was 2.30, we had been there for four and a half hours! We were ready to go.

When we dropped Ella off the babies were sleeping so we went in for a cup of tea, because I wasn't ready to go yet. Ella and I had fun playing in the tent. Then we were putting the dolls up our tee shirts so Mummy could get the babies out of our tummys.

I was very very tired after my big day of playing. I was sound asleep by 6.30. Nice.

Grace

We went to Chipmunks today . . .

I had a great time! I played on lots and lots of different things.

The best part though was when I was sitting in amongst the balls and a big boy was throwing the balls near me. Mummy told him that if any of the balls hit me she was going to come in there and hit him. He took off pretty fast.

Is it legal to hit other peoples children in public?

We went to Chipmunks today . . .

I don't know what all the fuss was about, there wasn't very much for me to do there really.

I just lay on the ground and smile and chatted away.

Nice.

Just hanging out . . .

Tuesday, 25 September 2007

Today I have been hanging out with Mummy, Luke and Kate.

I played some games with Luke, read Kate some stories in her cot, played kitchens with Mummy.

The best thing that happened though was when Mummy got a new Dora game for me on the computer. I have been playing it this afternoon. I can do it all by myself, I don't need much help at all. Nice.

Grace

I am allowed to play outside . . .

. . . but only if I put on my boots and my jacket. It is very cold today, what happened to Spring then?

Luke

Now that is something new . . .

Today Mummy put me in the cot to sleep because I am nearly to long for the bassinet.
I was just working up to having a bit of a moan and complain about being put down for a sleep when I noticed some funny little things up above my head.
It's nice to have something to look at in the bed. . .

Hooray Jazzy came for a visit . . .

Monday, 24 September 2007

This morning my friend Jazzy from Kindy came to visit. She came with her Mummy and her little brother Charlie. We played with lots of different toys, played some games and played outside. They all stayed for lunch too.

Jazzy had two ponytails and some beautiful ribbons in her hair! I love ribbons in hair, well acutally I have never seen that before, but what a great idea! Fiona let me have one of Jazzy's ribbons so that was very kind. I think I shall have to see if Mummy knows where the ribbon shop is I think.

I enjoyed having Jazzy at my house to play, I hope they come again for another visit.
