And then there were three . . .

Saturday's belated post . . .

This morning when I woke up it was very very early (of course). I was confined to the bedroom for a while and I found a Thomas train set under the bed! What a great find for a girl. When we got up Jen made up the train set for me, it was great, I love train sets!

After breakfast Luke and I had a bath in the outside bath! That's a very funny thing having a bath outside. The water was nice and warm though. After our outside bath I helped Jenny put stuff on the trailer onto the garden, I think I have my Gran's gardening genes.

Next we went for a huge walk in the hundred acre woods. They had a stream and some big hills to walk up. I carried a carrot and an apple most of the way to feed to Shelia the horse (Jac and Jen said they did not name to horse!) When we found the horse I fed her and I was allowed to sit on her back and have a little ride. I wasn't even scared. After riding the horse we collect the eggs from the chickens so we could have eggs for lunch.

On the walk back down the hill their ratbag dog chased the sheep and got growled! And I had a terrible tumble and grazed and cut my hands. There was lots of screaming and crying, but that's okay because Jac is a nurse and she fixed me.

On the way down the hill I told Mummy I liked it at that house and would like to go back. She said next time we are in Christchurch we could.

We drove back into the city and went to see Uncle Brenton, Donna, Connor and Rylee. They have a great new house with a lovely big yard for kiddies to play in. Nice.

Hanging out at the farm . . .

It's a tough life for a boy, just hanging out and being adored!

Hello Connor . . .

This is my big cousin Connor. His Mummy has a baby at home like me, but bigger. That means that Connor knows how to look after babies. I think Connor would be a good big brother.

Friday's belated post . . .

Right so we are away from home and Mummy doesn't want to fill Uncle Brenton's computer up with a hundred photos (but really he doesn't have Boardband so downloading photos will take to long) so she is going to do the blog and then do the photos when we get home.

Anyway today we left Greymouth and travelled to Christchurch. It was a very very long trip in the car for kiddies. We had to stop four times so I could do wees, or so Luke could have a cuddle and a feed. When we got to the Arthur's Pass Mummy got out of the car to take some photos and a Kea jumped on our car! It was very exciting for a girl to watch.

When we got to Christchurch we went to see Mummy's friends Aaron and Wendy. They have a girl who is a bit younger me called Harriet and a baby boy called Lachlan who is five weeks old. I liked to the look of Harriet, she was fun to play with.

Aaron called my Mummy Trace! I haven't heard her called that before. I am not allowed to call my Mummy Trace.

After being at their house we went met Jac and Jen at work so we could follow them to their new house. They live near Little River, which is near Akaroa. We had to drive up a huge hill, and then we had to drive down a huge hill. They live in the country, surrounded by lots of bush. They told Mummy they have a hundred acres and she said just like Winnie the Pooh, but they couldn't decided who wanted to be who from the hundred acre wood.

We had tea there and a sleep over! Annie came for tea also, I thought she would be like Little Annie from one of more programmes, but she wasn't a girl she was a Mummy. They didn't have any girl's for me to play with, but they did have lots of toys, a dog, a cat, a horse and a bath outside!

Hello Baby Lachlan . . .

Mummy has been having trouble putting my pictures on, so she has put them on Luke's post instead. (But they are my pictures).

I met a new baby today. His name is Lachlan White and he is 5 weeks old.

I wasn't allowed to touch him though. Spoil sports!

More girls to play with . . .

We have another busy day. First today we went to the park to play. I nearly gave my Mummy heart failure by climbing up to the highest point on the playground. I could get up, but not down so she had to help me.

Then we went to see Grandad at his village, he made me a boat and we floated it in the lake. Grandad went right around the back of the lake so of course I had to follow. Around the back of Grandad’s lake there are heaps of little boats. Funny that.

Next we went to see Maria, who my Mummy went to school with. Maria has got two big boys and two little girls, the boys weren’t at home so I played with the girls. Their names are Sarah and Emma. They were very very shy and it took them a while to warm up to play, but once they did it was all good.

Two swings . . .

I had a swing at the park.
I had a swing at Maria's place.

Another Grace . . .

I have been hanging out with my Mummy today. We went to Cobden school so I could play on my new scooter. While we were there I made a new friend. I went up to a girl who was playing on the slide and said to her 'hello my name is Grace, what is your name'? Her name was Grace too! Fancy that. Anyway we played for ages and ages. Not only did she have my name, but we also had the same shoes!

After that we went to see Grandad at his village. Luke was sound asleep so we hung out with Grandad down the bottom of the hill. Then Belinda took me up the top of the hill to build a boat and throw stones and Grandad's river.

Mummy and I left Luke with Nanny and we went to the beach this afternoon, we threw stones and had running races on the cricket pitch. It's been a big day, I am very very tired.

Grubby Bubby . . .

This afternoon Mummy and Grace went to pick up Grandad from work. I stayed at home with Nanny. She gave me my tea and a bath. Then everyone came home and I just amused myself crawling around the floor.

Apparently I am just like 'Pig-pen'. I gathered up heaps and heaps and heaps of grubby bits crawling around on the floor.

The best bit though was when Mummy went to put Grace to bed and read her some stories. While Nanny was playing on the computer I got into the coal dust. Nice!

Hello Nanny and Grandad . . .

I didn’t get to go to the park again with Aunty Bev this morning, something about the rain bucketing down. Instead Mummy packed up the car and we went to see my Nanny and Grandad. Nanny had the day off work so we got to hang out with her all day.

We went to a café for lunch, then we went shopping! That sounds like a well rounded afternoon to me. We went on a scooter hunt. Our first stop was Toyworld. They only had two scooters a Thomas one and a Dora one! Of course we just had to have the Dora one. Nannny also got me some cool doll’s house furniture.

Mummy tried to put my scooter together, but it was to tricky so we had to wait for Grandad (as much as I hate to admit defeat). Mummy and I went pick Grandad up from work and we had to wait for ages and ages, but that was fine by me because I got to hang out at Grandad's village for a while.

Anyway Grandad put my scooter together and I had a go, but it is tricky to stay up. I need more practice.

New toys for Gracie . . .

Gracie got some new toys today and I got to play with the boxes. Nice!

Hello Nana and Aunty Bev . . .

We left home very early today and went to Reefton so we could stay with my Great Nana Hunt and my Great Aunty Bev. Aunty Bev took me out and about twice! We went to the park, went for a walk and played in some mud puddles, but I fell on my bum and got very very muddy. It was great!

Mummy took me for a walk too. We went to buy some postcards to send to Gran and Grandad and Daddy. We also brought some bubbles. I love bubbles!

We had a sleep over at Nana’s house. Mummy, Luke and I slept on the floor in the lounge because the couch bed is to small for all three of us.

Coal dust and Uncles . . .

At my Great Nana's house she has two coal buckets that boys can play in if they are quick enough. There is also coal dust on the floor that you can get all over your legs and hands. Then on top of all that there are shells in the garden by the back door. I had a great time!

This is my Uncle Josh. I haven't met him before. He is my Mummy's brother. Hello Uncle Josh.
