Saturday's belated post . . .
This morning when I woke up it was very very early (of course). I was confined to the bedroom for a while and I found a Thomas train set under the bed! What a great find for a girl. When we got up Jen made up the train set for me, it was great, I love train sets!
After breakfast Luke and I had a bath in the outside bath! That's a very funny thing having a bath outside. The water was nice and warm though. After our outside bath I helped Jenny put stuff on the trailer onto the garden, I think I have my Gran's gardening genes.
Next we went for a huge walk in the hundred acre woods. They had a stream and some big hills to walk up. I carried a carrot and an apple most of the way to feed to Shelia the horse (Jac and Jen said they did not name to horse!) When we found the horse I fed her and I was allowed to sit on her back and have a little ride. I wasn't even scared. After riding the horse we collect the eggs from the chickens so we could have eggs for lunch.
On the walk back down the hill their ratbag dog chased the sheep and got growled! And I had a terrible tumble and grazed and cut my hands. There was lots of screaming and crying, but that's okay because Jac is a nurse and she fixed me.
On the way down the hill I told Mummy I liked it at that house and would like to go back. She said next time we are in Christchurch we could.
We drove back into the city and went to see Uncle Brenton, Donna, Connor and Rylee. They have a great new house with a lovely big yard for kiddies to play in. Nice.
