Happy birthday to me . . .
Monday, 26 November 2007
Hooray today is my birthday! I am four years old today. This morning I woke Daddy up early and then we woke Mummy up so that I could open up my presents. Mummy and Daddy brought me lots of lovely things, but by far the best is my new Barbie house! It is very very very cool, I love it!
I didn't go to swimming this morning, Mummy said it would just be mean to let a little girl open up her presents and then make her go into town for the day. That was fine by me, we stayed home all morning and I play with my new toys.
We did go into town after lunch though so I could go to Kindy. We all stayed today, Mummy said she was to tired to go anywhere else. Because it is my birthday I got to sit on the birthday chair today at Kindy. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me and then we did pony claps (the birthday person gets to choose what sort of claps they want to do).
After Kindy we rushed down the road to dancing, then after dancing we went back to Gran's house for a visit. I had an ice cream at Gran's house, then I showed her how good I am at peeling the carrots. I think she was impressed with how clever I am.
Our final stop for the day was to the park in Wakefield, Mummy, Luke, Kate and I were all playing there, I showed Mummy how brave I am and fed the big horse grass out of my hand. While we were there Daddy showed up with tea for everyone! Hooray for Daddy.
We had a lovely tea, lots of fun and then on the way home I travelled in Daddy's car. I was sound asleep by the time we got home. When Mummy carried me into my bed I woke up and said 'I want to play'. She said to lie down and have a wee rest and she would be back to play when she had sorted the little ones out.
I didn't get to play. But I did have a good long sleep.
