We would like to introduce the lovely Kate . . .

Hello there, my name is Kate. After a much anticipated arrival I finally decided to show my face on Tuesday 12 June. I was born at 6.04pm. My Mummy said my delivery was her best birth experience of the three she has had. My delivery was fast (when I finally decided to get going). The 'active labour' was 2 and a half hours. There were no drugs (ahhhhhh).
So what about me? I weighed 4325 grams (that is 9lb 8 oz in Nana weight). I was 54 cm long. My head circumference was 37 cm. I am perfect (of course).
It was a very long and hard journey. I was reluctant to come out, but now that I am here they all seem quite nice really.
So here I am then, this is me at 2 minutes old. Thank goodness that is all over then!

I was measured, checked and weighed by Paula . . .

Yipppeee - finally Kate - well done mummy no drugs. I have discussed that with my bump so that it will be smooth sailing too!!!
Kate I think you look like you brother.
I will be there for a cuddle as soon as I can -I have a silly cold/flu that I dont want to share with you-so see you soon.
