How to make an ice cream spider . . .

Thursday, 7 June 2007

We all went into town today - the whole family. They dropped me off at Kindy, I really really wanted Mummy to stay with me and I cried and made a fuss walking in, but by the time I was in the gate and had found someone to play with I had forgotten all about Mummmy.

After Kindy we went to hang out at Gran's house. Guess what I found in Gran's pantry? A plug! Hooray. Mummy, Daddy and Gran all laughed, no-one knew that I had stashed one in there. We had our tea and our bath there (I had my plug in the bath). We also left Daddy there because he is starting work at midnight. I hope Kate doesn't decide to come tonight because we are home alone.

Mummy took today's pictures last night. Here is my reciepe for how to make an ice cream spider:

Scoop the ice cream out of the container . . .

Put some ice cream into your glass . . .

Put some ice cream into your mouth . . .

If you're really quick you can lick the lid of the ice cream container before you get growled (don't tell Daddy though, it's his Hokey Pokey ice cream) . . .

It's pretty tricky, but you have to take the lid off the fizzy . . .

Very very very carefully pour the fizzy into the glass (ahhhh Grandad Alan it's red fizzy!!!!!) . . .

At my house you have to eat your Ice Cream Spider in the highchair - so your baby brother can't get hold of it (ratbag) . . .

If you eat it with your fingers it tastes even better (and it runs up your arm). . .

Still no baby (obviously).
