Chalk drawings and trips to the river . . .

This morning Uncle Ian came to visit with Joel, Mitchell and another boy called Dylan. The boys helped me to draw lots of chalk pictures outside on the ground. Later in the day Luke and I washed them all away with the hose. We had to have a warm bath afterwards though, because we were freezing cold!
This afternoon we went for a visit to the river. I helped to throw lots of stones into the water. I also tried to build a sandcastle, but there isn't much sand at the river, just stones, so it was a bit tricky really.
