A close call for Henry . . .
Saturday, 14 April 2007
We were supposed to take that rat catching bastard Henry around to Saskia and Isaiah's house today, but I woke up with a sore tummy and was crying and complaining. We have had a home day today, so Henry has been saved for one more day. Mummy has been talking about giving Henry away ever since the rats started turning up. Saskia has rats at her house and no phobia about picking up the dead ones. So to Mummy that is a sensible solution.
What Mummy realised this morning is that around the time she started talking about giving Henry away I started asking her if she still loves me (when I do things I'm not supposed to do and get growled) and if she is going to keep me. I think she is having second thoughts about giving him away. And anyway Daddy doesn't want to give him away either. I told Mummy that we could keep Henry and give Daddy to Saskia. Now we may have a plan . . .
Today Mummy and I built a huge castle and that stupid old baby smashed it all up. I was playing on the computer and that stupid old baby got into my game. I was playing with the doll's house and that stupid old baby mucked up everything.
We went outside to play, with the chalk and drew all over the ground and all over the slides. I also draw all over the stupid old baby. He does have his uses I suppose.

That's a very interesting insight from your mummy. Just don't go leaving dead rats lying around!
