Pigs and chickens . . .
Sunday, 25 March 2007
We had a quiet start to the day. It has been a busy couple of weeks, with having to go to Jo's house, the wedding weekend and the general activity of the week. Mummy said we were going to take it easy this morning (something about being sore and tired - again!)
I have been playing with Luke this morning, we watched a bit of TV and then headed outside to play. I am still trying to figure out how to make my tree house. I tried to put it together with sellotape and that didn't work, so at the moment I am experimenting with a sand and water mixture to stick it all together. Mummy is not being helpful at all.
After lunch we went for a visit to see Saskia and Isaiah. They live even further into the county than we do, it took nearly 20 minutes to drive to their house. They live on a life style block (whatever that is). They have pigs and chickens and dogs. Isaiah's Daddy locked the dogs up though, they were a bit scary for me. We feed to pigs and I got to pat one of them, they weren't scary at all. Tarn they had heaps of chickens too, not just one! I didn't feed to chickens though.
I heard Mummy trying to give our black cat away. She doesn't like him anymore and said he is a little bastard. On Friday there was the incident with the rats tail. Then yesterday there was a whole rat with it's head bitten off under the clothes line. One of the big boys from next door came over and moved it for us. I don't know how much longer Henry is going to be around for!
On the way home Mummy brought me an ice block, but when we got home that bad old baby took it off me and finished it. I tried to take it back and he hit the roof! What a ratbag. I was a very kind big sister and let him have it. In fact I was a very very kind big sister and helped him to eat it.
