How to keep busy on a rainy day . . .

Wednesday, 12 December 2007

We were supposed to go to the river today for a play, but it has been raining so they decided that that was a bad idea. Never mind there has still been plenty going on around here today.

This morning we put on the raincoats and went across the road to the library for a visit, then we all went for a walk down the road to the pub for lunch. While we were at the pub Uncle Lee showed Jarvis and I how the play darts. Our Old Nana was a very very good dart player (she went all over the place playing darts) so she would have been very proud.

When we got home we played outside in the paddling pool and under the sprinkler, then we made popcorn and watched a movie. Aunty Ade took Jarvis, Felix and I across the road to play when all the school kids went home, Mummy played the Elephant game with us after tea and we tried to play Candy Land but that was too hard.

Luke went to sleep early (because he missed his day sleep) so Jarvis and I have been playing with his train set.

It is great having my cousin to stay but I am very very tired all that playing really takes it out of a girl.

wow what fun you are all having with all your visitors. Luke and Jarvis look so similar when they are together. Keep having fun, I'm enjoying looking in on it!
