What a busy Grandad . . .

Gran and Grandad came to our house today. Grandad has been very very busy. He made a garden for me! Daddy was supposed to do it, but he was away with St John's and now he has a sore shoulder. Mummy was getting worried because soon it would be to late, but then Gran offered Grandad's services.
Hooray for Gran and Grandad.
I have been very very busy helping today. We had to take the grass off first, then dug it up (I didn't help with the noisy machine though - when Grandad was doing that bit I played hide and seek with Gran and helped Mummy to cut some of the branches off the big tree).
When Grandad had done all the hard work Gran raked the garden over and Mummy and I planted the seeds. We planted peas, carrots, corn and radishes.
It was a team effort (although some of us worked harder than others). Thanks Grandad Gordan I will let you eat the first produce from my garden (Mummy told me the story about the little red hen).
Tonight when Mummy read my story she read one about when Milly Molly Mandy did some gardening. I asked Mummy if my garden would be growed yet. She didn't think so.
I wonder how long it will take? I will have to check first thing in the morning.
