Stupid Mummy . . .

Monday, 8 October 2007

We had a huge day today. Our first stop was to drop Luke off at Aunty Megan's house so that she could look after him while I had my swimming lessons. I was delighted at the swimming lessons because Sarah was back, not that mad Princess Fiona who put my head under the water. Also at the swimming pool today they had a new slide in the kiddies pool, so that was loads of fun when we had a swim after the lesson. I didn't want to go, I just wanted to stay and play on the slide.

When I was going to get changed I had a terrible tumble on the slippery tiles and cracked my head on the ground. There was a lot of screaming after that.

After we picked Luke up we went to the Warehouse so we could get some new shoes for Luke and I and some summer Pyjamas for Luke. I was very good in the Warehouse and picked out the most beautiful shoes in the world for me. Mummy says they are pure white trash shoes, but I wasn't convinced.

Next we went for a drive so Luke and Kate could have a sleep, then Mummy and I got McDonald's for lunch and sat by the Modellers Pond and had our lunch.

Mummy, Luke and Kate all stayed with me at Kindy today. We did lots of stuff, painted some pictures, played with the blocks, read some stories.

The part of the day I was looking forward to most came next though, we went to see Gran and I got to put my dancing dress on. We went across the road for my dancing class . . . but it was already on! Mummy thought it was at 4 o'clock - but it was on at 3.30, so I missed it. I was so disappointed! Stupid Mummy!

    Hi Gracie
Thanks for having us to visit last week, we had a lovely time catching up and meeting Kate. We travelled home to CHCH on Sunday in all that rain and it was pretty scarey with all the lightning. I took the boys to the pool you have your lessons in and they had a great time on the big blow up slide! What a great complex.
    Charlie.

We had a lovely time catching up Charlie. Thanks for coming to visit. We stayed at home in the storm, I'm pleased we weren't driving around!
