Picnicing, visiting, walking and eating outside . . .

This morning we had to get packed up for our family outing (that means that Daddy came along too). Our Playcentre had a picnic at Quinney's Bush today, so I helped Mummy to do the lunch's. I am a very good lunch packer, if I do say so myself. When we went to get into the car I was told that I had to sit in the back, because Daddy was too I wasn't allowed to sit in the front. How rude. I cried and screamed and had a huge tantrum. It didn't work though, I had to sit in the back. How terribly rude!
I had a great time at the picnic, we played on lots of cool stuff and played lots of games. The girls and I were just warming up to a game of hide and seek and then it was time to go home. The time there went very very fast.
Next we went to Tarn's place for a visit. Rob was there, and baby James of course. The Mummy's were busy chatting and my Mummy didn't do any photos there, silly Mummy. I took Daddy for a walk while we were there to show him how to feed the chicken.
When we got home Kate went to bed (and slept for 3 and a half hours). Daddy did some study so Mummy put Luke and I in the buggy and we went for a huge walk. I wanted to get out and walk too, but Mummy said we were walking so she could get some exercise and get skinny so I had to stay in the buggy.
We walked around the village, along the main road to the bridge then around the back of the Motor Camp. When we got home I asked Mummy if she is skinny yet. She said no, it will take more than one walk. That's a good thing I think because I love going for walks.
Because it has been such a beautiful day and so warm we had our tea tonight at the big picnic table outside. I love eating outside!
I have had a very lovely day.
