Happy Father's Day Daddy . . .
Sunday, 2 August 2007
Right so today was Father's Day. I have been very excited about Father's Day. This morning we got up and Mummy and I made bacon and eggs for Daddy's breakfast. Then we gave him his present. We brought him lots of different things for cleaning the car, special clothes and brushes and products. That should keep him busy for a while.
This morning Gran and Grandad turned up for a surprise visit, so that was a treat. Gran and I played with the dolls house and then we played Kindy. They stayed for lunch and we all ate lunch at the little table. Nice.
Tonight for tea we went down to the pub for tea (because it is Father's Day after all). Mummy and Kate and I all walked down and walked back, Daddy and Luke went in the car. On the walk home it was very dark and there were lots of stars out. I sang this song for Mummy:
'Star light, star bright
first star I see tonight
wish I may, wish I might
have the wish I wish tonight'
Do you know what I wished for?
A new pink house. Mummy said good luck to me. I don't know if that is a good thing, or a bad thing.
