My first swimming lesson . . .
Monday, 6 August 2007
We were up and out the door early this morning (that's quite an undertaking around here) because I had my first swimming lesson this morning at 10 o'clock. I wasn't to sure at first, but when we got there and I saw what it was all about I had a great time.
My swimming teacher is called Sarah and there were only three of us in the group. We practiced blowing bubbles, kicked our feet while holding on to the rails. We also had to jump into the water to Sarah when she sang Humptey Dumptey. I really enjoyed it. After the swimming lesson I had a play in the kids pools and Jacob French was there. Fancy seeing one of my French boys at the swimming pool. I didn't recognise him for a while because he had his swimming goggles on. When I was in the pool I practiced the kicked that I had learnt with Sarah. I am looking forward to going back next week.
After that we went to have lunch at Gran's house. Then it was off to Kindy for me. It has been a very big day actually.

The first photo is a bit foggy, but it is actually me floating on a swimming noodle while Sarah was pulling me along.
