Carrying Kate . . .

Lately in the morning when we all wake up Mummy and Luke have been getting up to light the fire and start making the breakfasts. While they have been doing that I have been staying in bed (in the warm) and giving Kate lots of cuddles, because she is normally still asleep. But this morning when Mummy and Luke were doing the jobs Kate woke up. So I carried her all the way down to the lounge to Mummy. It was quite a mission. I had to get her past the safety sleep down to the bottom of the bed, then I had to pick her up off the bed (which is actually quite high), I had to make sure that I had a good hold of her (which was pretty tricky because she was well wrapped up in a blanket). I held on very very very tightly, I also made sure that I kept one hand behind her head.
Mummy was so pleased that I am such a big help. Nice.
My favourite games today have alternated between playing babies and kitchens. I have also been playing outside with Luke. We helped to fill the wood box and then we went to talk to the cows that were by our fence. I was teaching Luke to count to five. I don't think he was listening though.
