Screams in the morning . . .

Friday, 6 April 2007

We had a very loud start to the day. Mummy opened the curtains in my bedroom and let out a huge scream. The huge scream was followed by lots of ranting about little bastard cats. That bad Henry had left a huge rat under the washing line. Mummy was not impressed at all. Daddy said not only was there a huge rat under the washing line, but there was also bits of a second rat.

Apparently there was also a dead rat found at Mummy's school during the week, in the sandpit under the volley ball net. Some of the big boys picked it up and put it in the girl's locker room. There was more screaming over there.

Gran and Grandad came for a visit today. Daddy made burgers for lunch and we ate outside. I love eating outside!
Also . . .

Grandad did some drawing with Luke and I . . .

After lunch we went for a walk across the road to Mummy's school and had a big play . . .

We played running games . . .

I climbed up the big ladder so I could play in the fort . . .

I slid down the big pole . . .

I was a monkey and Gran feed me bananas through the bars . . .

Then Gran was the monkey at the top of the bars as well . . .

Gran and Grandad brought up some Easter Eggs for Luke and I . . .

Gran and I built a tower that was taller than me . . .

What cool grandparents you've got - they always seem to be doing fun thing with you.
And as for eating burgers outside that sounds like a fantastic idea.
