Porridge with Gran . . .

Wednesday, 7 March 2007
Today was our Gran day. We had a slow start to the morning so we hadn't had breakfast when she got here (we often haven't on a Wednesday). But that's okay because Gran makes porridge for us. She makes much nicer porridge than Mummy does. Mummy's porridge is yucky because she makes it in the microwave. Gran's porridge is the best because she makes it in a pot.

Before Playcentre today we went over to Mummy's school because it was sports day today. We watch the big kids doing some running and some high jumping. Mummy was looking after the long jump. Luke, Gran and I all had a go when the big kids were gone. Gran used to have the record for the long jump when she went to Mummy's school, but we think it has been broken since then (either that or they just don't record things in yards anymore).

After that we went to Playcentre. Wednesday used to be really really busy, but today wasn't so busy. They did have a new supervisor. Her name is Tracey, like my Mummy. I liked the look of her.

This afternoon Paula came to our house to check Kate is growing properly and that Mummy is still healthy. All was good there. I helped Paula take Mummy's blood pressure and to listen to Kate's heartbeat.

I agree with you Gracie - porridge cooked in a pot is much better but I have to admit that I use the microwave as it's much faster and easier.
