Poor Grandad . . .
Saturday, 17 Feb 2007
We have been to lots of places today. Our first stop was to see Paula, our Midwife. They are moving house so everything was a bit mad at Paula's place. She said she didn't mind our coming because it gave her a chance to stop packing and have a break. She listened to Kate's heartbeat in Mummy's tummy and I helped! I turned the button on the machine and wiped the gel of the end of the machine and off Mummy's tummy. All is well with our new baby, she is growing and doing all the things she should be.
After Paula's place we went to see my Great Nana Saxon, Grandad is in the hospital because his heart is a bit sore, so we popped into Nana's house to check how she was getting on. She was a bit tired and sore today, so we stopped for a visit. She also had chocolate fish for Luke and I - and a very funny story about Mia chasing boys at school, and how she is going to chase them slowly from now on so she doesn't fall over!
Our next stop was at the hospital where we went to see Grandad Saxon. He was in the intensive care ward, so we didn't stay for long. There are a lot of very sick people in there and apparently little children are a bit noisy (that would be Luke - not me). Our poor Grandad is not very well, but was delighted to see us (of course - who wouldn't be?) Grandad had lots of bits and piece stuck to his chest, I don't have any bits and pieces stuck to my chest.
After the hospital we went to see Margaret and her family. Mummy and Margaret used to go to school together, many years ago. Margaret has three big kiddies, but no one as little as me. Simon (the dad) took me, Olivia and Olivia's friend to the park (it is nearly right outside their gate - that's lucky)
Next we went to see Gran and Grandad. We left Luke there and Mummy and I went down to the Mall to get some stuff. At the $2 I was allowed to get anything I wanted! Excellent. I got some balls and some bats. We saw Daddy very briefly back at Gran's house - he has been working all day and is doing Opera in the Park with St John's tonight.
We stayed at Gran and Grandad's place for tea and their friends Geoff, Cheryl and Sam came for tea too. Nice. Sam played with me with my new toys. Cheryl brought a great cake for tea and Gran and Grandad had been picking strawberries, so all was good there.
The bike in the picture is the one that my Daddy learned to ride a bike on, Grandad has fixed it up for me to ride on. What a good idea.

ell missy make sure you learn from Mia's example. Actually be one up, don't even start chasing boys.
Mia has a nasty graze on her face to show what happens when you do.
Wow, i haven't thought of margaret for years. If you read this Hi Margaret.
