The first day of a new year . . .

Today we went to the river for an outing. Daddy knew of a good spot and Mummy was delighted because we can drive the car there, and then it isn't a big walk with all the baby gear that you have to carry around with you.

I was delighted because there were some kiddies there for me to play with. There was a family from Autstralia with two kiddies, we had a great time and I was very sad to have to go home.

But when we were pulling out of the picnic area we saw Nick and Pete, they are good friends of my Gran and Grandad. They were camping there with their big grandchildren, so we stopped for a cup of tea and I got to play with some more kiddies. Nice.
