And then there were three . . .

Picnics and parks . . .

Today my Gran and Grandad came out to have lunch with us. It was great to see them, I haven't seen them in ages and ages. I helped Mummy set up the picnic table and we had lunch outside. I love having lunch outside!

After that we all went for a walk (Daddy included) to the shop to get some ice creams and then we went to the park to play. I had a terrible experience on the see-saw, Noah was on the other end and he jumped off while I was up the top. I got a very very sore bottom and cried and cried. I shall have to keep an eye on kids on the see-saw from on.

Other than that I have had a great day, with lots of excitement!

What a lovely day to have lunch outside Gracie. We had sunny weather in Westport too because we were leaving! I met your Grandad on Friday and learnt all about his village. It was a lovely visit. Have fun back at Playcentre this week.

We are very pleased you had sunny weather on the coast, Christchurch was terrible weather.

We are also pleased that you met my Grandad and saw his village, it is very very cool. Were you allowed to build a boat?

I don't know if I am going to Playcentre this week because of the pox,

Have you got the pox too now Gracie?

No I didn't build a boat, there was too much to see and so many stories to hear we never had time! Next time maybe.

    Charlie.

Charlie I don't have the pox yet, it is a shame you didn't get to build a boat, but then again you can probably tell from Grandad's comment just what he really thinks about boats.

That's good Gracie, they might still come.

As for your Grandad, someone should tell him that 'Sailing' doesn't start with an F!
