Happy birthday Granddad . . .
My Granddad had his birthday during the week and he didn't have a party! I was so horrified by this state of affairs that Gran made him a birthday cake and we went to visit today and had afternoon tea. It wasn't a Dora party but I still had fun.
I helped Gran to put the lollies on the cake, I played with my Gran and with my Granddad. Granddad also has the Granddad flu (Granddad Alan knows all about that). Poor Grandad. We were playing house behind Gran's big chair, last week I was standing on Gran's big chair and had a terrible tumble right over the top. You have to be very very careful.
Earlier in the day I went shopping with my Mummy and Luke. I know all about shopping now. We went to JK and to Pumpkin Patch. I helped Mummy to find clothes for us, I picked out lots and lots and lots of stuff. I know how to check out everything on the racks and put it on top of the buggy.
Funny though how most of the stuff I picked out didn't come home with us, I'm not to sure what happened there.

Yay for the fabulous decorating on the cake Gracie. My boys had a birthday last week too, and they were 11, I baked them a double mixture banana cake and it was sooooooo high! I iced it just like you have but with white chocolate buttons too. You are very clever.

Charlie I had a great time decorating the cake, did your boys have a Dora party?

If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb. (Now that's more like it!)

No Gracie no Dora party, they went dirt kart racing at an indoor track and got very dirty and had lots of fun. I watched from the sideline, too much adrenalin for a Mother to handle just watching without actually being in one!

No don't do that Gracie, I think a Dora party sounds just fabulous, much more like the sort of party I would love to go to rather than the noisey dirt karting, and it was so very cold in there too. Go Dora, she makes learning fun!
