And then there were three . . .

Friday: Day 1 of our holiday . . .

We were up early this morning so that we could go on our holiday to Wellington. Daddy finished packing up the car and we drove over to Picton, it took a very long time to get there and I was stuck in my car seat and not allowed to get out. That wasn't very fair for a girl. There was some concern in the front about the weather, apparently it is not very nice to go on the big boat when the weather isn't very nice. Mummy kept saying that is was getting better.

I didn't know that driving rain and gail force winds were better than blue skies and sunshine. She is one of the 'the glass is half full' types of Mummy's.

We drove our car on to the big boat, and had to climb lots of stairs. We found a play area that was a bit like Chipmunks. Mummy and Daddy were delighted to be sitting on level two of the boat for hours and hours. We also had a bit of an explore, but it was very very windy up the top and we weren't allowed outside for long.

They kept saying we were on a boat, but I told them no it is a big house.

When we got to Wellington we went to stay with Rach and Lorna, they are my Mummy's friends. Nice.
