The Cat in the Hat and me . . .
This morning we went to Playcentre and I had a great time. I had to jealously guard my favourite swing for a while, but that got a bit boring so I decided to venture further afield.
I did a bit a painting, got involved in some music games and did some work on the woodwork table (but don't tell Grandad Alan).
When we got home after Playcentre Mummy discovered that she had lost our house keys. But it was okay because Sylvia lives next door and works at school, so she went and got on of the big boys to come over and climb through a window and open a door for us.
That was lucky. Thanks Sylvia and Danny.
I am so tired as I was awake until 10 o'clock last night. I have been asking to go to bed all afternoon, but she keeps finding jobs for me to do. I am beginning to suspect that I am going to go to bed very early.
I have been doing the dishes, did some gardening, mopped to floor, cleaned the bath, read to the baby and watched some TV.
Things I learnt today:
If you eat chocolate chips in the bath you will end with a big ring around the bath. I am just like the Cat in the Hat!
You have to scrub a dry cake of soap really hard on the babies head or none will come off.
If you rub a dry cake of soap on the babies head he will cry.
If you rub a dry cake of soap on the babies head you get into trouble.
