I had a very early start . . .
This morning I woke up at 5 o'clock. There was no going back to sleep. I was busting so I had to get up to go to the loo. Unfortunately for Mummy I needed help so she had to get up too. Then of course because we were both up and I needed a bot.
Mummy turned on the TV in the lounge, got me a pillow and a blanket and left me there! Something was said about it being to bloody early to get up, nice! I didn't mind at all.
When Mummy and Luke finally got up I told her I was going to be a sheep, so don't understand why she was so suprised to find me trying to climb over the fence into the paddock. It is a tricky fence to climb, I might try going through it next time.
We had to fill the wood box today, so while Mummy did all the hard work I washed out the ash bucket with the hose. Apparently I am 'as anal as my father'. I don't know what that means, but hey I like my Daddy so that can't be all bad.
On the Luke front I found him sleeping in Mummy's bed this morning, the door was open and he was unguarded. That's asking for trouble really.
Things I learnt today:
It is okay to feed Henry cat biscuits one by one from the bowl, when you carry then into the lounge from the laundry.
It is not okay to carry Henry's water bowl into the lounge.
I can not do wees in the potty when I am standing up.

You are very brave Grace to try and go in with the sheep, but it is not very safe. While I am here at my Aunties house in Hope I am allowed to give the sheep (6 of them) a slice of bread, but Rambo the ram is very bossy and he pushes the other sheep away. Be very careful of Rams they are mean and very strong. from Katie.

Hi Katie, glad to see you made it to Hope, how is your holiday going?
I am brave about the sheep on our side of the fence, I suspect I might not be quite so brave on their side.
I was a little relieved when Mummy stopped me.
Have you been to see the whale yet?

Hi Grace, no haven't seen the whale yet, I went to see my Aunties friend's toy poodle today it was soooooooo cute. I emailed my Mum a photo. I want Mum to buy one but she said that when us kids leave home she might. Is that unfair or what? I'll keep an eye out for the whale, but the weather is not being very kind to my holiday yet!

Katie you could always get an after school job and buy yourself a poddle, where there is a will there is a way.
Or just tell your Nanny that you really really want one and she might buy you one. (they tend to be very soft)
The weather is rubbish, you must have been looking for indoor entertainment like me.
Did you have any crocdiles in the lounge?

I already do a paper run Gracie but for the money I earn from that it is going to take me almost 3 years to pay for it and by that time I might be going out with boys and the poodle will get jealous. Oh well dreams are free. I am home from Nelson now and the weather got better and I never saw you at a park but I did get to have a nice lunch at the Tahuna Beach Cafe, yummy Fejoia smoothies and I also brought home 2 bags of Fejoias for my family. They were $2 a bag next door in Ranzau Road, Yummmmmmmy. Catchya another time maybe. Katie.

If boys don't like your animals then they aren't up to much.
I don't know what a fejoia is, I don't like eating vegetables or most friut so I don't think I'll go looking for them either.
Maybe I will see you next time at the park Katie (remember move it move it)
